prosperous community than exists today.
Only the heroic efforts of its modest parish and the gifts of our benefactors can keep this
beloved Shrine maintained and open for the generations to come.

Vigil Candles
Throughout the National Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, wax and electric VIGIL CANDLES flicker. They represent the prayers of the faithful who light them in person, or who ask us to represent them in illuminating the sacred alcoves of the Basilica.
For a donation of Two Dollars each, we would be honored to light vigil candles for you at the Shrine Altar of Our Lady of Sorrows or any of the chapel shrines. Please send your CANDLE or SUPPORT donations to this address:

DVD & VHS
A VIDEO PILGRIMAGE to OUR LADY OF SORROWS
is now available by MAIL ORDER in DVD and VHS formats.
The VHS tape was produced in 1993 and is 10 minutes long. It briefly
covers the history of the Basilica, and visits and describes all the interior
chapels and much of the architecture and artworks.
The DVD is 20 minutes long, produced in 2009. The DVD features an
updated narration and completely new and beautiful visuals of the interior, all the pilgrimage chapels, and brief visits to the cloister garden and Basilica Museum.
The VHS tape is $5.00 plus $2.00 shipping ($7.00 total)
The new DVD is $10.00 plus $1.00 shipping ($11.00 total)
